This trek has very wonderful experience. You will pass through Hindu-kush ranges. Tirch mir is the highest mountain of Hindu-Kush range. On the way back, we will enter Swat valley. The trip will end in Islamabad the capital of Pakistan. As our jeeps take us deep into valleys, we even leave the jeeps to walk through the mountains to feel their grandeur.
Arrival at Islamabad airport – Hotel transfer and rest.
Briefing at the Ministry of Tourism – Necessary permissions and orientation.
Drive to Swat Valley (960m) – Lush landscapes and cultural sites. (960m) 6-7 hrs. Over night at the hotel
Departure for Chitral (1516m) 7-8 hrs, via Lowari Pass (3118m)/hotel
Free day in Chitral – Local sightseeing and final purchases.
Jeep drive to Shagrom (2,760m) – (2760m) 6-7 hrs/ camp
Trek to Sherniak (3,540m) – Gradual ascent through valleys. 4-5 hrs/camp
Trek to Shogar Biasin (4,100m) – Alpine scenery intensifies. 7-8 hrs/camp. – Alpine scenery intensifies.
Trek to Babu Camp (4,724m) – Close views of Tirich Mir.
Exploration day – Optional hikes and photography at base camp.
Trek back to the Shogar, 5-6 hrs/camp
Trek from Shogar to Jangle Through high pastures and forests. 4-5 hrs/camp
End of the trek.
Overnight in town, 6-7 hrs/ hotel
Excursion to Kalash Valley, 3-hrs/hotel – Visit unique Kalash culture.
Drive to Swat – Historical stopovers en route. 5-6 hrs/hotel
Drive to Peshawar – Cultural immersion in the frontier city. 3-hrs/ hotel
Drive to Islamabad via Taxila, 3- hrs / hotel – Ancient ruins and museum.
Debriefing at Ministry of Tourism – Formal end of the trek.
Departure from Islamabad – Transfer to airport for flight home.
