The trip will take you to the trekking peak in the Shigar Valley.The name Khoser Gung in the Balti language means Ice Pumpkin. The glacier feeds the part of Shigar Valley situated on the left bank of Braldu River.
Many supernatural myths and fairy tales are associated with the peaks by the local people. Technically it is an easy climb. However, crossing the ice which is mixed with little rocks presents intermediate difficulties. Ideal time for the expedition is July to August that can be extended upto mid-September depending on weather conditions. Khosar Gang Peak (6400m).
The expedition is ideal for new climbers, mountain enthusiasts, or those preparing for higher 7000–8000 m peaks like Spantik, Broad Peak, or Gasherbrum II.

If flight operates → transfer to hotel & rest
If flight is cancelled:
Drive to Chilas (12–14 hours, 480 km) via Karakoram Highway
Overnight at hotel
If traveling by road:
Complete drive from Chilas to Skardu (7–8 hours, 275 km)
If already in Skardu:
Free day for rest, sightseeing & preparation
Overnight in Skardu
4×4 Jeep drive from Skardu → Koshumal
Meet local porters & begin trek
Trek through meadows and glacier approaches
Arrive at Khosar Gang Base Camp (BC)
Establish camp & prepare climbing loads
Overnight in tents
During these days, the team will:
Conduct acclimatization hikes
Make load ferries to Camp 1 and Camp 2
Establish Camp 1 (~4,800 m)
Establish Camp 2 (~5,200 m)
Identify and fix ropes on steep sections
Monitor weather & prepare for summit push
Attempt Summit of Khosar Gang Peak (6046–6400 m)
Descend back to Base Camp after summit
